Why Should I become Certified with $8 Alcohol Server
Training?
State Requirements:
Many states already require that all servers and sellers of alcohol receive
RBS training by an approved training provider. They may require that you as a
server or seller will need to receive training within 30-days of employment. The
$8 Alcohol Server Training program is approved in a number of states -

Employer Requirements:
Many employers now require that their employees be trained how to serve and/or
sell alcohol responsibly. Employers with a large number of employees requiring
training may wish to set-up a Corporate Account -

Protect Yourself from Liability:
Learning how to recognize the signs and stages of intoxication and how to check
for proper identification will help you to serve and/or sell alcohol
responsibly. Receiving a violation for serving alcohol to a minor or to an
obviously intoxicated individual can lead to civil and criminal liability.
Become trained and protect yourself today.
Help Getting Employment:
Many employers may also require you to become RBS trained prior to providing
employment. Receiving training and getting your certification card will
demonstrate to a potential employer that you take responsible alcoholic beverage
service seriously and can help to put you ahead of the competition.
Business Management and Owners Don't put your liquor
license at risk - train your staff to serve and sell alcohol responsibly!
Providing/Requiring staff alcohol server training will help to protect you
and your business from liability. When an employee receives a violation for
breaking one of the alcohol laws, the Licensee is also held accountable. The
governing liquor authority may suspend or even revoke your liquor license for
multiple violation within a specific period of time. Additionally, there may be
a reduction on your liability insurance premiums (contact your
insurance provider for details).
