Is this training program equivalent to TiPS, TAM, CARE, TEAM or ServSafe?....
Yes! An RBS program MUST be approved by the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control in order to qualify for mitigation benefits and insurance premium reductions. This RBS program does satisfy employers requiring employees receive training by an approved RBS provider.
REMEMBER: Don't be taken by training providers who don't use their own curriculum, are not approved by the ABC or are not authorized to provide training (many people are offering to teach the LEAD course, but are not authorized). There are also many individuals offering training who are not qualified, do not provide quality training and even cut the training class short. Be sure to choose a training provider with a proven track record of providing quality training with qualified trainers. We have worked with hundreds of businesses like yours so know that you can trust that your staff will received the best R.B.S. training possible.
